Bill and Marie Selby were interested in helping local students with limited financial means pursue a higher education, with the goal of not only achieving a meaningful career, but helping their community. Today, “Selby Scholars” are undergraduate students who demonstrate maturity, grit, and resilience in the face of adversity. Selby Scholars are resourceful, committed, and academically prepared to succeed in college and the pursuit of their dreams.
Applying for a Selby Scholarship
Submission Timeframe
The Selby Scholarship application opened on January 1, 2024 and will close on March 1, 2024 at 4:59 pm.
Documents
1) Current official transcript;
2) One letter of recommendation;
3) Resume (Optional); and
4) Student Aid Report (SAR) or FAFSA Confirmation email with estimated SAI code/number.
On the application eligibility quiz, we ask, “What is your SAI (Student Aid Index)?”. Please select 12,000 or less for this question to begin your application.
