Susie Bowie has led the Selby Foundation since March 2023. She spent 18 years in the community foundation field, including 7 years as Executive Director of the Manatee Community Foundation. She is the past chair of Charitable Gift Planners of Southwest Florida and serves on the board of Visit Sarasota County and the Florida Nonprofit Alliance. Susie is a graduate of Leadership Florida (Class 37) and is passionate about philanthropy, inclusion, nature, and her dogs Ted Lasso and Scout. She graduated from the University of Florida with honors in 1998 holding a B.S. in Environmental Science.

Kiarra has guided the success of the Selby Foundation's scholarship program since 2022. Lived experiences navigating educational awards and scholarships, exceptional knowledge in the field, empathy for others, and alignment with Selby Foundation values guide Kiarra's impactful work. Kiarra manages the Selby Scholars program--working with more than 160 college students each year. She coordinates the Regional Scholarship Provider Network and supports youth through education about various forms of financial aid and opportunities for post-secondary education.
