Seasoned nonprofit professional Elizabeth Power is the newest member of the Selby Foundation team, who assumes the role of Grants Manager on June 10. Elizabeth brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit arts administration and leadership in the Southwest Florida region.
“We are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth to our team with her long-standing commitment to the sector,” says Susie Bowie, President & CEO. “Understanding what it takes to lead and administer successful nonprofits further increases the ability for the Selby Foundation to work side by side with organizations for their funding and capacity needs.”
Her background includes essential roles at Perlman Music Program Suncoast and The Hermitage, including grant writing, reviewing, and reporting for local, state, and national grants along with developing innovative collaborations and programs with corporate and community partners, and managing the operations of growing organizations.
Beyond her commitment to nonprofits, Elizabeth has a love of music demonstrated through advanced degrees in viola performance from The Juilliard School and The Hartt School, University of Hartford, along with teaching and performing music for more than 25 years.
Elizabeth is excited to support the Selby Foundation’s mission and incredible impact throughout the four-county region.
