Dedicated volunteers drive our Selby Scholarship selections every Spring, paving the way for a new group of 40 students to receive invaluable financial and human support through college. Every member dedicates hours of time at home and in our office with a focus on acknowledging the gifts of each applicant as an individual.
Each year, the Selby Foundation balances new committee members with those who have served one year or more to ensure our unique process and approach is honored while fresh voices are heard. Our esteemed members include community leaders, retired professionals, recent college graduates, higher education leaders, leaders from youth-serving organizations, and Selby Scholar alumni representing Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. We have immense gratitude for each of them!
