Each year, the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation awards renewable college scholarships to 45 high-achieving students with a passion for community and service. Our semi-finalists will be coming to the office for in-person interviews during the last week of April.
What we’re seeking
Four volunteers to join the Selby Foundation to welcome students for interviews, take their photos, make them feel at home, and support the staff with logistics.
Skills you need
- Selby Foundation values of humanity and humility.
- Ability to travel to our downtown Sarasota office for 3.5 hours on one or more of the following days: April 23, April 24, April 25, and April 26.
- A knack for being warm & friendly.
- Ability to be on & off your feet to welcome students, announce their arrival, and take a quick photo.
- Few photography skills? No problem! We provide the camera–it’s point and shoot.
